The Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church is located in downtown Milford, Connecticut on the Green. Ample parking in the rear of the church

168 South Broad St, Milford, CT

(Broad Street splits up around the Milford Green, with South Broad Street going East and North Broad Street going West. There's a place at each end of the green to turn around. If that's too confusing just follow the direction below. For those of you using GPS, you will probably have to put in SOUTH Broad Street, even though the chuch's official address is simply "Broad Street".

From I-95,  heading Southbound (From New Haven)

Take exit #39a turn off onto Ramp for 0.2 miles

 

Bear RIGHT onto US-1 (Boston Post Road) for 0.2 miles_

 

Bear LEFT onto River Street for 0.3 miles

 

Turn RIGHT onto SR-162 (Broad Street) for 0.4 Miles

 

Turn Left onto SR-162 (Greensend Pl) for 65 yards

 

Turn LEFT onto SR162 (S. Broad St) for 0.1 miles

 

Church is on the RIGHT, just after People's Bank.

Go in the driveway just past the church.  Park in back, behind the church.  (Parking behind the bank is okay after noon.)

From I-95 heading Northbound (From New York)

Take exit 35 onto ramp for 0.2 miles

 

Bear RIGHT onto Schoolhouse Rd for 0.3 miles

 

Bear Left onto US-1 (Bridgeport Ave) for 0.3 miles

 

Bear RIGHT onto SR-162 (Bridgeport Ave) for 0.8 miles

           Continue (North-east) on ST-162 (S. Broad St) for 0.2 miles

          Church is on the RIGHT, just after People's Bank.

Go in the driveway just past the church.  Park in back, behind the church.  (Parking behind the bank is okay after noon.)

Easy to reach from I-95, I-91,  Wilbur Cross Parkway (a.k.a. Hutchinson River Parkway and  Merritt Parkway), or the Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry from Long Island!  

Camping

Several Connecticut State Parks are within an hour. Kettletown and Hammonasset are the nearest, roughly an hour away. Black Rock and Lake Waramaug would each be about an hour.  At least one couple stayed last year at Hammonasset and enjoyed it. http://dep.state.ct.us/stateparks/camping/  is the State website for further information and reservations.
